  • About The Barangay

    Barangay Tubod is one of the 27 barangays under the Municipal Government of Asturias, a third class Municipality of Asturias under the Province of Cebu.
    According to our forefathers, the named TUBOD was originally came from the SPRING WATER whose had been appeared in different areas in the place whereas the water is continuously flown and this has been the source of water of this place. Barangay Tubod was created last September 11, 1978. The first people who settled in barangay tubod was named TUBONIANS and they are under the ethnic group ASIAN.
    Based on the 2023 Commission on Election (COMELEC) records, the barangay has 654 number of registered voters; 328 males and 350 females. It has 28 precincts.
    Barangay Tubod has 5 sitios.
