Discontinuation of the Existing Page and Transition to a New Official LGU-Managed Facebook Page

The Local Government Unit of Asturias, Cebu informs the public that this Facebook Page will be DISCONTINUED due to difficulties in its proper administration and management arising from limited and partial administrative control.

To ensure full administrative access, stronger account security, timely publication of announcements, and more efficient delivery of accurate and verified public information, the LGU is transitioning to a new official Facebook Page directly managed by the Asturias Public Information Office.

A transition period of 15 days, from July 10, 2026 to July 24, 2026, will be observed. After the transition period, this Page will no longer be regularly updated.

All official announcements, public advisories, emergency information, government programs, activities, and other verified updates will be posted exclusively on the new official LGU-managed Facebook Page. The public is encouraged to follow, like, and share the new Page to remain informed and updated.
