As part of the celebration of the 148th Araw ng Asturias, Hon. Dana Andrew M. Dumdum delivered the 2026 State of the Municipality Address (SOMA) last July 24, 2026 during a special session of the Sangguniang Bayan, held at the Asturias Sports and Cultural Center.

During his address, Mayor Dumdum presented the accomplishments of the Municipal Government, including its completed and ongoing programs, projects, and initiatives across various sectors.

He also outlined the administration’s priorities and development directions, reaffirming its commitment to transparent, responsive, and people-centered governance.

The conduct of the SOMA provided the Asturiasnons with a comprehensive account of the municipality’s progress, the responsible use of public resources, and the continuing efforts of the local government to improve the quality of life of its people.

The special session was formally adjourned following the delivery of the State of the Municipality Address.
