After his return from leave, Mayor Dongkoy Dumdum called for an emergency meeting with the Budget Officer and the Waterworks Office to resolve the water problem in Brgy. Banban and some parts of Upper Lunas.
According to information, water supply in these areas has been cut because the current water source is located within a poultry farm, affecting the residents.
Mayor Dongkoy gave directive to the Waterworks Office to find another source of water outside the farm, and plan to build a new water system to ensure continuous water supply to residents.
Currently, the Local Government Unit of Asturias will be delivering water tanks to the affected areas to ensure residents have accessible water.
