Other members of the CAOCAMPIO were also in attendance, as well as Philippine Information Agency Regional Director Fayette Riñen.
Gov. Baricuatro also signed, in front of the group, an executive order urging all local government chief executives to designate an information officer, emphasizing that their role in keeping the public informed of government programs is crucial.
Before their oathtaking, the officers, directors and the rest of the members of CAOCAMPIO met with the members of the 17th Sangguniang Panlalawigan chaired by Vice Governor Glenn Soco.
Vice Governor Soco also expressed his support to the group, and said a resolution will be passed to recognize the province’s information officers. Board member Mike Villamor told the group that he can sponsor the resolution.
