Department and office heads, together with employees of the Local Government Unit of Asturias, Cebu, actively participated in the 2026 PCSA Fun Run (Lingkod Bayani Run 2026) held today, September 13, 2026, in the City of Talisay, Cebu.

Carrying the theme “Stride as One, Serve the Nation,” the activity was simultaneously held across regional sites nationwide as part of the 2026 Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) celebration, bringing together government workers in a shared demonstration of unity, wellness, camaraderie, and commitment to public service.

The Asturias delegation was led by Human Resource Management Officer Mr. Christian Jake T. Laspiñas, alongside LGU department heads and personnel who joined fellow public servants from various government agencies and local government units in Cebu.

More than a celebration of physical fitness and fellowship, the Lingkod Bayani Run reflects the collective spirit of the Philippine civil service: moving forward together with a common purpose and a shared responsibility to serve the Filipino people.

As LGU Asturias continues to take part in the nationwide celebration of the Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, its participation affirms that public service is strengthened when government workers move as one—united in purpose, committed to service, and always putting the people at the center of public service.
