Through the effort of Mayor Dongkoy Dumdum, LGU Asturias successfully provided financial assistance to the LGUs affected by the earthquake through the program Asturiasnong Ka-abag: Help From the Heart of Asturias.
Relief was given to Borbon, Tabuelan, San Remigio, Sogod, Medellin, Daanbantayan, Bantayan, Tabogon, and Bogo City.
This initiative shows the true spirit of teamwork and concern led by Mayor Dongkoy for neighboring LGUs affected by the disaster.
