The Local Government Unit of Asturias successfully concluded its three-day Strategic Planning Workshop held in Tabuelan, Cebu, bringing together municipal officials and department heads in strengthening the municipality’s direction for effective governance and public service.

The workshop was participated in by Mayor Dana Andrew M. Dumdum, Vice Mayor Reine P. Yaras, Members of the Sangguniang Bayan, department heads, and office representatives. Throughout the activity, participants engaged in discussions and planning sessions focused on aligning the municipality’s goals and priorities for the coming years.

Among the key outputs of the workshop were the crafting of each office’s Strategic Operational Plan (SOP) and the Annual Learning and Development Plan (ALDP), which will serve as essential guides in improving organizational performance, enhancing employee development, and ensuring the efficient delivery of government programs and services.

The activity reflects the commitment of the LGU Asturias to strategic, responsive, and people-centered governance by fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across all offices.
