Filipino teachers based in Vietnam prepare to hold “Beat The Odds 2.0: A Benefit Concert” on December 6, 2025, at Mikey’s Restobar. The initiative aims to raise funds for three public schools in the municipality that suffered extensive damage from the recent typhoon.
The beneficiary schools include Owak Elementary School, Tag-amakan Elementary School, and Asturias National High School, all of which sustained major destruction, these schools are among the hardest-hit in the municipality, with recovery efforts still ongoing.
Carrying the message that education must continue despite all odds, the benefit concert serves as a strong reminder of the Filipino spirit of bayanihan even beyond borders.
