FOUR O’CLOCK AGAINST MOSQUITO
In support of the program of the Department of Health Central Visayas Center for Health and Development, the Asturias Rural Health Unit together with the Barangay Health Stations took an initiative to combat the continuous increase in dengue cases in the same town where it participated in the Nationwide Search and Destroy of Mosquito Breeding Sites Kick-off Event for Dengue Prevention and Control.

The theme “Alas Kwatro Kontra Mosquito” seeks and shows the intention of the people of the City of Asturias to unite and show cooperation for the purpose of preventing and reducing the case of the deadly Dengue disease. The municipality of Asturias, together with the Asturias Rural Health Unit, wants us to remain vigilant especially in its symptoms such as recurrent fever that lasts for two to three days, chest pain, nausea and headache and so on. The people are encouraged to continue cleaning the environment every day and to work together especially now that the rains have started.
