EDUCATORS’ NIGHT 2026 BRINGS TOGETHER ASTURIAS TEACHERS IN CELEBRATION AND FELLOWSHIP
In a refreshing turn from the usual Educators’ Night extravaganza where teachers themselves take center stage as performers, the educators of Asturias took time to dress up, gather together, and simply enjoy an evening prepared especially for them.
The Department of Education (DepEd) Asturias Districts 1 and 2 successfully held Educators’ Night 2026: “Choreographed Canvass: Kaleidoscope of Rhythm and Movement” on August 8, 2026, at the Asturias Sports and Cultural Center as part of the continuing celebration of the Asturias Fiesta 2026.
This year’s celebration gave our hardworking teachers the opportunity to take their seats in the audience and appreciate a night of artistry, movement, and cultural expression. The stage came alive through the vibrant performances of the Lumad Kinaiyahan Dance Group, whose presentations showcased the beauty of dance, culture, and creative storytelling.
The event was graced by Municipal Mayor Hon. Dana Andrew M. Dumdum, who extended his warm congratulations to the educators and everyone behind the successful activity. In his message, Mayor Dumdum encouraged the teachers to continue giving their best in shaping the minds and futures of Asturiasnon learners, recognizing the vital role they play in the development of the municipality.
He likewise reaffirmed the commitment of the Municipal Government of Asturias to continuously support programs, activities, initiatives, and advancements that strengthen the education sector and contribute to the professional growth and welfare of educators and learners alike.
More than an evening of entertainment, Educators’ Night became a well-deserved occasion for fellowship, appreciation, and celebration; a moment for our teachers, who give so much of themselves inside and outside the classroom, to sit back, enjoy, and be celebrated.
As the Asturias Fiesta 2026 continues, we honor the dedication of our educators and recognize their invaluable contribution in building a more educated, empowered, and progressive Asturias.
Together, we celebrate our teachers.
Together, we Celebrate Life Together.
