Asturias bagged with great honor after two of its health institutions received awards during the 1st Regional Epidemiology & Surveillance Unit (RESU) Awards Ceremony held on August 20, 2025 at Mandani Bay, Mandaue City.

Asturias Rural Health Unit (RHU) was honored with the Silver Certificate of Excellence for their excellent performance, reliable commitment, and significant contribution to disease surveillance and public health response in Central Visayas. Personally accepting the award of RHU Head, Dr. Keith Michael Jann Alasco.

Meanwhile Alan L. Adlawan Infirmary Clinic also received a Gold Certificate of Excellence for their continuous efforts in providing accurate and fast data reporting, strong public health collaboration, and protection of public health.
