The Municipality of Asturias formally opened the celebration of its 148th Founding Anniversary last July 24, 2026, with a Thanksgiving Mass at the historic parish church of San Roque de Motpellier, offering gratitude for the continued blessings, progress, and unity of the Asturiasnon community.

Following the Mass, the newly acquired Asturias Mobile Clinic was officially blessed. The mass and blessing were officiated by Rev. Fr. Renato T. Sinining, parish priest. The celebration continued with a festive motorcade along the municipality’s main highway, participated in by municipal officials, employees, barangay representatives, partner agencies, and various sectors of the community.

These activities highlighted the municipality’s gratitude for its rich heritage and reaffirmed the commitment of the administration of Mayor Dana Andrew M. Dumdum to accessible public service and people-centered governance.
