The Barangay Animal Health Aide Association (BAHA) of the Municipality of Asturias, Cebu received an outstanding recognition during the BAHA Congress 2026 last August 18, 2026, marking another proud achievement for the municipality and its continuing efforts to strengthen animal health and agricultural services.

The recognition highlights the dedication and valuable contribution of Asturias’ Barangay Animal Health Aides in safeguarding animal welfare, assisting livestock and poultry raisers, promoting disease prevention and responsible animal management, and supporting food security at the community level.

Through their work in the barangays, the animal health aides serve as important partners of the Local Government Unit in bringing essential veterinary and animal health services closer to farmers and livestock raisers.

The Municipal Government of Asturias, under the leadership of Mayor Dana Andrew M. Dumdum, congratulates the members of BAHA for their commitment and service to the people of Asturias.
