A great honor for the Municipality of Asturias

A great honor for the Municipality of Asturias after two officers of the Municipal Treasurer’s Office (MTO) of the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) were honored for their dedication to public service.
Emma Maria Baliguat, Municipal Treasurer of Asturias, received a Certificate of Recognition from BLGF for exceeding the revenue performance targets of the local government. This award reflects his effective leadership in tax and revenue collection, as well as the lasting cooperation between LGU officials and the MTO team.
While Leah Magallon-Mondreza also received an award as Outstanding Municipal ESRE Focal Person—a prestigious award given to LGU personnel who demonstrated outstanding performance in the Electronic Statement of Receipts and Expenditures (eSRE) program of BLGF.
MTO Asturias is grateful and proud of the accomplishments of their officers.
The awards were given during the Midyear Regional Conference of Local Treasurers and Assessors in Region VII “Siete Awards 2025” which aims to honor LGUs effective in fiscal management and revenue generation.
