Walo ka panimalay ang nahimong biktima sa sunog kagahapon sa Sitio Guinabasa, Brgy. Tubigagmanok nga miresulta sa pagkawala sa ilang pinuy-anan. Karong adlawa, personal nga mitambong sa lugar si Mayor Dongkoy Dumdum ug ang Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) nga gipangulohan ni Marianee Gabriel aron motan-aw sa kahimtang sa mga biktima.
“Gi-providan nato sila ug food packs, kitchen kit, sleeping kit ug hygiene kit. Giprocess nato for financial assistance sila from LGU” matud pa sa MSWDO Gabriel atol sa iyang pagbisita.
Dugang pa sa MSWDO, “Gi-providan pod nato sila ug debriefing” aron matabangan ang mga apektadong pamilya nga makab-ot ang emosyonal ug sikolohikal nga suporta.
Sa pagkakaron, nagpadayon ang LGU sa paghatag ug tabang aron makabarog pag-usab ug makapangita ug temporaryong kapuy-an samtang nagpaabot sa dugang ayuda.
Alang sa gustong mohatag ug donasyon, mahimong mobisita sa MSWDO Office o sa PIO Office nga gisang-at isip official drop-off offices.
8 houses burned, LGU Asturias rushed to help
Eight households became victims of the fire yesterday in Sitio Guinabasa, Brgy. Waterfowl resulting in the loss of their habitat. Today, Mayor Dongkoy Dumdum and the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) headed by Marianee Gabriel personally visited the site to check on the condition of the victims.
“We provided them with food packs, kitchen kit, sleeping kit and hygiene kit. We processed them for financial assistance from LGU” according to MSWDO Gabriel during his visit.
In addition to MSWDO, “We also provide them with debriefing” to help affected families reach emotional and psychological support.
As of now, the LGU continues to provide assistance to regain their stand and find temporary housing while awaiting for additional assistance.
