𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐘 𝟒𝟓𝟕𝐓𝐇 𝐅𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐘, 𝐂𝐄𝐁𝐔!

Pursuant to 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝗡𝗼. 𝟴𝟵𝟱𝟮, August 6 of every year is declared a special nonworking public holiday throughout the Province of Cebu, including its highly urbanized and component cities.

Today, we proudly commemorate the 𝟰𝟱𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂; a celebration of its rich history, vibrant culture, resilient people, and enduring contributions to the growth and development of our nation.

From its historic beginnings to its continuing progress, Cebu has remained a province of remarkable heritage, strength, and opportunity. This occasion reminds us of the generations of Cebuanos whose courage, hard work, creativity, and devotion have shaped the province we proudly call home.

As one Cebuano community, may we continue to preserve our shared heritage, uphold the values that unite us, and work together toward a more inclusive, peaceful, and progressive future.

The 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘀 joins the entire Cebu Province in celebrating this significant milestone.
