The Municipality of Asturias, Cebu joined the Halad sa Pagtuo 2026 Grand Procession of Saints on August 29, 2026 in Cebu City, in celebration of the 457th Founding Anniversary of the Province of Cebu.

Representing Asturias was the carroza bearing the parish’s revered processional image of our beloved patron, San Roque de Montpellier.

The participation of Asturias reflects the deep faith and devotion of the Asturiasnons, as well as a religious tradition that remains closely woven into the municipality’s history and identity.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the parish, devotees, LGU personnel, volunteers, and everyone who helped prepare the carroza and made Asturias’ participation possible.
